Kristen Echols gave a lecture titled “A Lesson in Every Quilt.”

Dr. Colleen Pokorny spoke on the history of pre-cuts.

Deborah Boschert spoke on Exploring Art Quilt Collages, and showed us many examples of her art quilts.

Karen Miller spoke on art quilts, and on her own journey as a dyer and quilter.

Dave Own Hastings presented “Minimal Design, Maximum Impact.”

In the “Get it Quilted” panel discussion, Colleen, Colleen, Mieke and Derrith shared their enthusiam for this aspect of making quilts.

Roslyn Burmood gave a presentation on the Community Doula Program, and we discussed ways the guild can assist the program’s clients.

Our guest speaker was Michael McCormick, founder and publisher of Quiltfolk Magazine.

Our annual Christmas Party was at Common Fields. The food and drinks were excellent and so was the weather, a bit chilly but dry.
