December 11, 2025
The December gathering replaced the regular program meeting and took the form of a holiday potluck and social event. Colleen P. began our festivities at 6:30 p.m. with a welcome and brief announcements. Joyce L. welcomed 33 members as they arrived in her last official “meeting” of the year as Membership Chair. We had one guest, Susan C.’s son, Adam.
Program
The evening theme for the meeting was a holiday potluck and party. VP Alice M. led a fun group activity using jelly roll strips, ending with one winner at each table. A photo-op booth was available for members to use, and members socialized while sharing appetizers, dinner, and dessert.
Elfster Exchange
The 24 members who chose to participate in the Elfster Exchange shared a gift with their secret guild participant. Recipients were delighted with their surprise gift, a needle holder, pouch, or potholder, along with other fun surprises tucked into the gift. Carah G. filled in for JC B. by taking photographs for the guild’s social media. The photo-op booth was used to capture a picture of each Elfster giver and receiver together with their gift after it was unwrapped.
Get ’Er Done Project
The winners for the 2025 Get ’Er Done projects were announced. The winners were given gift certificates to Finally Together in Lebanon, OR. Those awarded prizes were Sharyn S. ($20), Kim T. ($30), and Sara P. ($50). Sign-up sheets for the 2026 Get ’Er Done projects were distributed by Candy W. Those with questions regarding the activity should contact Candy W. The number selected to be completed by the February meeting was number 8.
Mystery Gift Bags
Those members participating in the mystery gift exchange picked a gift off the exchange table prior to leaving for the evening.
