Monthly guild meeting

We’re excited to welcome Niraja Lorenz as our August guest speaker!

Niraja’s quilts are known for their rich visual texture and movement. During her presentation, she’ll share how she uses strip piecing as a design tool to create intricate patterns and organic-looking textures that often appear far more complex than they really are. She’ll also be bringing a collection of her quilts, giving us the opportunity to see her work up close.

Because she'll be bringing many quilts, we'll need a few extra volunteers to help with room setup before the meeting. If you have a quilt stand we could borrow for the evening – or would be willing to arrive early to help set up – we’d greatly appreciate it. Please let us know if you have a quilt stand we can borrow.

Visitor policy for this meeting

Guests are always welcome at CMQG meetings, and usually at no charge – but for this meeting, we will ask non-member visitors for a $10 guest fee, to cover the speaker’s fee. Feel free to invite quilting friends who might enjoy an evening with Niraja!
